London.
The Aeroplane.
(circa1943).
Second edition.
Black and white illustrations of aircraft throughout, 65pp, contents evenly browned throughout typical of war time paper, oblong small octavo stapled on spine, original blue and orange wrappers showing some very light wear but overall very good. Over 40 Japanese aircraft are described and pictured in an effort to "present both the features and general characteristics of the chief types of Japanese aeroplane now in operation with the Naval Air Service and the Army Air Force. Published as it was during the war there are some very biased attitudes expressed in the text but it is an interesting historical piece nonetheless.
